Trevor Kirby is making his mark on the drag strip as a competitive NHRA Junior Dragster driver in the 6-9 age group. With a passion for speed and a sharp focus behind the wheel, Trevor has already proven himself by winning two Wally trophies in his debut season, an exceptional achievement that demonstrates his natural talent and dedication. He continues learning the ins and outs of racing while competing against some of the best young drivers in the country.
Junior drag racing is where the next generation of racers get their start. Drivers as young as 5 years old strap into scaled-down dragsters and race on 1/8-mile tracks. These cars may look small, but they pack real performance, reaching speeds over 70 mph depending on the age class. It’s all about reaction time, consistency, and developing the skills that build future champions.
Trevor’s dragster features a lightweight chassis, precision safety gear, and a bold design that stands out on the strip. Just like full-size professional dragsters, his car is built for speed, safety, and sharp looks.
Trevor has already started building his racing résumé. Competing in NHRA Division 7 events, he has earned recognition for his dedication and performance, including taking home a Wally trophy, one of the most coveted awards in drag racing. Each race is another chance to improve, learn, and push further down the track.
Behind every racer is a strong team. Trevor’s family plays a key role in keeping the dragster tuned and ready, supporting him at events, and celebrating every milestone. Racing is more than just speed, it’s about family, teamwork, and community.
And a special thanks to Mike and Jacelyn Gonzaga, Trevor’s coaches
